This is a Guy Fawkes Hash. The night will be black as coal on the Heath, so bring a torch to flush out those dirty plotters. Be ready to chase and burn some papist devils with celebration, libation and various kinds of distinctive and delicious burnt flesh from the Bear BQ back at the pub.

TRAVEL NEWS-There will be no District Line between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway, not even a bus replacement service. Come by mainline from Paddington, frequent trains, e.g. 18.44/48/57, take 9 minutes to Ealing Broadway, or , from West London, take the Piccadilly Line to South Ealing Tube Station, cross the road and walk half a mile North (left on exit) to The Grove on your right  this may not be P-trailed so see The Map Link. Central Line service to Ealing Broadway are operating normally.

Most of the trail will be off-road. Bring a torch (UV if possible) and high viz clothing. The trail will be laid in fluorescent flour, and fluorescent make-up will be provided at the pub. If you want to know where to get a UV torch try Amazon. Starting from under a fiver they are apparently useful for all sorts of things, including spotting counterfeit currency, scorpions and cat urine.

30 July 2015 – Temple

Run Nr 1558 – Devereux Arms, 20 Devereux Ct, London WC2R 3JJ

This is a summer spectacular A-B run. Arrive before 7.20pm if you want your bag transported to the mystery destination. There will be a drink stop. The pub at B will be close to an underground station. Cryptic clues as to the destination will be left with the bar staff or chalked on the pavement for latecomers too lazy to do the trail.
